1. The Princess Bride w/ Cary Elwes in-person
American Cinematheque is hosting a double feature, both featuring Cary Elwes -- who will be there in person!
At 7:30pm they are showing his newest film -- starring Penelope Cruz in the title role as The Queen of Spain.
This will be followed by a screening of the classic, The Princess Bride. Tickets can be found on Goldstar for under $10!
2. DTLA Proud Festival
The newer, cooler version of LA Pride is back for its second year taking over Pershing Square in downtown.
Musical performances, an outdoor waterpark, booze, and various vendors make for a classic block party experience in the heart of Los Angeles.
Open 12pm-10pm both Saturday and Sunday.
3. Off the 405 @ The Getty
This free concert runs through the summer with various musical acts. This Saturday, Savoy Motel is playing.
A great excuse to enjoy the Getty museum and take in a free concert at sunset!
4. Los Angeles 7th Annual Food + Wine Festival
Get fat and happy at the amazing Los Angeles Food + Wine Festival. It's not the cheapest option on this week's to-do list, but it's worth it.
Tickets come at various price points, but all options will leave you fappy (fat & happy)!
5. Nisei Week Japanese Festival
This weekend Little Tokyo throws there own, free festival from 11am-7pm Saturday and Sunday.
Music events, a car show, and even a Gyoza eating championship are just a few of the events. Just make sure to check the website as each day has different entertainment offerings.
