Top 5 things to do in LA - Labor Day Weekend Edition!
1. Angels Flight is Back!
It's the "world's shortest railway" and she's back. After being closed since 2013, the downtown funicular is refurbished, and open to the public.
Thanks to cameos in recent films like La La Land, Angel's Flight will be busier then ever.
Rides are $1 cash, or 50 cents on your TAP card.
2. Rooftop Cinema Club -- Pulp Fiction | Reservoir Dogs
Since Angel's Flight will only last a few minutes, while you're downtown checkout Rooftop Cinema Club's screenings at LEVEL.
The films change weekly, but over Labor Day they are playing Pulp Fiction Friday night, and Reservoir Dogs Saturday night at 8pm.
Dinner, Angel's Flight, and a rooftop flick. What more do you want out of life!?
3. 626 Night Market
The 626 Night Market bills itself as the largest Asian themed market in the USA. Food, arts, crafts, merchandise, and entertainment take over Santa Anita Park in Arcadia.
Admission is only $5 --- parking, and kids under 6 are FREE!
This is the last one of the summer, you have one last chance to check it out!
4. LA County Fair 2017
Back for (most) of the month of September, the LA County Fair sets up in Pomona.
Everyone knows about the rides, food, and games. But it's the concerts that set it apart from smaller fairs around the country.
This weekend you can choose from the I Love the 90s Tour w/ Salt-N-Pepa, Juanes, or Boyz II Men & Babyface.
5. Vegan Street Fair Nights @ The Federal in North Hollywood
It's a pretty self-explanatory title, a great Vegan themed block party, but the key is which night you go....
Friday night is 21+ only
Saturday is for the family where kids 12 and under are FREE
But don't worry, there's a beer garden both nights!
