Top 5 things to do in LA - 9/29/17
1. Downtown Dark Nights @ LA Live
This FREE event takes over the outdoor area surrounding LA Live and the Microsoft Theater.
Live music, $5 food & drink specials, a pop-up marketplace, and street performers start at 6pm.
2. Halloween Horror Nights @ Universal Studios
The yearly tradition at Universal Studios is back. I'll post below to the main site, but there are discount tickets available all over the internet.
The Walking Dead, The Shining, American Horror Story, and many others will be represented.
3. Oktoberfest @ Santa Anita Park
Endless steins of craft beer, costume contests, a corn toss, and German food galore will take over Santa Anita Park this Sunday.
Discounted tickets are available thru the link below via GoldStar. The tix include beer tastings, a $15 food voucher, and a souvenir stein.
4. Boo! @ The LA Zoo
Think of it as a "Halloween Horror Night" for the younger set. All throughout October, the LA Zoo includes various Halloween themed activities with the price of admission.
A nocturnal animal themed maze, live demos with the Zoo's creepy insect population, puppet shows, and pumpkin carving contests are just a handful of the activities.
Try to go on the weekends when they have all of the offerings.
5. Rock N Roll Flea Market @ The Regent Theater
This music themed flea market has an impressive array of memorabilia from all genres of music. Food trucks and live music are also on hand while you shop.
Vintage clothing, records, posters, instruments, and other collectibles will all be available for purchase. It happens every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month.
