Property Tax Deductions

Since this is a real estate blog, I try to stay away from politics...

But the current effort to overhaul the tax code could have a disproportionate effect on California home owners --as well as other high property tax states like New York and New Jersey.

The California Association of Realtors just put out this infographic which is great at breaking down the amount of money that homeowners may see vanish if Congress gets its way to eliminate the property tax deduction.

As always, if you want change (or in this case, no change) contact your representative.
