Top 3 Things to do in LA -- NYE Edition

1. Grand Park DTLA New Year's Eve Celebration

This FREE celebration takes over downtown with countless food trucks, live music, clock countdown, numerous dance floors, games, and kid-specific areas.

The LA Metro will be running for FREE on New Year's Eve, so take the Metro there and back, to avoid the sky high Uber/Lyft prices.

2. BOOM! (Sober NYE party) -- West Hollywood

For those of you who are drug and alcohol free, the City of West Hollywood also puts on a FREE celebration every year at the West Hollywood Park Auditorium.

This year they are going for a retro Prom theme to ring in 2018, they'll incorporate all the good stuff you want in a NYE party...without the vices!

Boom Weho

3. Prohibition NYE @ Union Station

I gave you a family friendly option for #1, and a sober option for #2, --- so for #3 we're going back to the NYE basics: formal attire, lots of booze, and a decidedly adults only vibe.

For the 6th year, Prohibition throws a 20's themed, formal party to ring in the New Year. Yes, tix are a little pricey, but they do include open bar.

Burlesque, jazz, and a live DJ will all be on hand, and with the Metro stop being at Union Station (and running for FREE on NYE) it's also super convenient.
