How long will this take?

So this is a very common questions among buyers. They always want to know how long the buying process will be. Unfortunately, there is no clear cut answer.

I've had clients get a house on their first offer, and others it took 10. Some looked for one week, and others have taken a year.

The important part is that you are prepared to be patient to find the right fit. Yes, you can always win your first offer, but you may have to go 20% over asking...and is that smart financially?

On the contrary, you can be so tied up in getting the best possible deal, that you just endlessly offer, hoping someone will take a lowball offer.
