Top 3 Things To Do -- June 2018
1. LA Pride -- June 8-10th
It's baaaaaaack. Christopher Street West is back once again with the yearly Los Angeles Pride festivities.
Events take place all weekend in WeHo (calendar is linked to the photo below). But highlights include:
Kehlani -- Saturday Night
Tove Lo -- Sunday Night Headliner
Eve, Icona Pop, Keri Hilson performances
Parade -- Sunday Morning
Day Drinking -- All weekend
West Hollywood Park will also be turned into a giant party with booths, vendors, dancing, food, and drinks for everybody --- gay, straight, trans, bi, whatever....
Come one, come all...it's Pride.
2. King Tut at the California Science Center - All June
The world famous King Tut exhibit has been at the California Science Center for a few months, but starting in June they are doing EXTENDED HOURS!!
Needless to say, this exhibit is packed every day, but the key is to now go in the afternoon. The schools have left, the tourists have (mostly) left, and you'll get a lot more time with the exhibit.
AKA no lines!
This is supposedly the last time King Tut artifacts will travel before "retiring" back to Egypt. So take advantage while you can.
3. Louis Vuitton Presents "Time Capsule" -- thru June 10th
Century City Westfield is playing host to a pop-up museum of sorts, tracing the heritage of the House of Vuitton back to its inception in the nineteenth century.
This FREE exhibit is a fascinating look how our need for travel (and how we actually travel) has changed over the last 160 years.
It's a perfect blend of history and fashion, with some truly historic pieces.
